Ingredients
  

  • 1 large chicken breast (or 2 small pieces), cut into chunks
  • 1 tbsp live oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup canned diced tomatoes (or 2 fresh tomatoes, chopped)
  • ½ cup heavy cream or cooking cream
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh basil or parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken pieces and cook for about 4–5 minutes until lightly browned on the outside.
  • Add chopped onion and cook for another 2 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the diced tomatoes and oregano, then allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes so the flavors develop.
  • Pour in the cream and stir gently until the sauce becomes smooth.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then allow the chicken to cook in the sauce for another 5 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Garnish with fresh basil or parmesan cheese if desired and serve warm.
